A year-end advanced retreat for a selected group of yogis was held in a bungalow located at a high altitude in the mountains of Central Sri Lanka, off Hatton. The comfortable atmosphere was quite conducive for longer sittings as yogis followed instructions and teachings given by the teacher Bhanté Samādhikusalà. At the conclusion of the retreat, the workers at the bungalow expressed their joy and gratitude for Bhanté with the presentation of a framed image of the Buddha. This picture now hangs in the Nirodha City Centre meditation hall.
