Turning 50 in Taipei

On November 18, 2018, to celebrate our teacher Bhanté Samadhikusalo’s 50th birthday, there was a joyful surprise birthday celebration during a visit to Taiwan. Accompanied by Venerable Dhammaratana in Taipei, lay devotees and resident monastics held a spontaneous get together at the end of a Dhamma discussion. Bhanté Samadhikusala was very touched by the kindness and goodness of all the devotees around him, most of whom he was meeting for the very first time.
